A Resource That Finally Takes Teenagers Seriously

I use the An Nasihah Further Studies Book with teenagers in part-time evening Madresa, and it has genuinely changed how we approach Islamic education at this level.

What sets it apart is the willingness to tackle topics most Islamic curricula avoid entirely: the problem of evil, pornography, the ideological pressures quietly eroding the iman of young people before they even recognise it. These are the real challenges our teenagers are facing, and this book addresses them honestly and from a place of genuine knowledge.

It covers the foundations of the deen in a way that even a new Muslim would benefit from, and then builds toward a strong sense of Islamic identity — which is arguably the most important thing we can give a young person navigating life in Britain today.

One more thing worth saying: I have learned a great deal from this book myself. It's accessible at every level. That is the mark of something truly well put together.

I love the Quran, I bought both colours, the midnight blue and maroon.
The best thing about is that it is so light, so its very easy and ideal to carry around.

Beautiful masha Allah. Lovely quality paper and binding, with clear, easy-to-read print. Overall, this feels thinner and slightly smaller than other prints, but the clarity and quality feel superior. I felt that the reduced weight/size whilst maintaining the same font size was a bonus, as this makes it easier to hold and carry. The external cover has a subtle yet elegant sheen that isn't fully captured in the picture.
